Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil Rural Medical College of PIMS – DU & Pravara Medical Trust currently collaborates with Jiv Daya Foundation, Dallas, USA, to improve maternal and perinatal outcome through use of electronic partograph.

The project funding of Rs 5,80,200 for 1st years includes support for 1 Counselor, 4 Nurse cum data mangers, 1 computer, 1 printer and monthly printing cost. The project funding for 2nd year includes Rs 5,35,200 and for third year is Rs 5,80,200.

The goal of the project is to ensure complete and accurate ploting of modified WHO partograph in 100% of laboring women in order that end results will be reduction in maternal and fetal complication rates.
