In order to promote academic, scientific and health care co - operation for Spinal cord Injury patients between Spinalis Foundation Stockholm, Sweden and Smt Sindhutai Eknathrao Vikhe Patil Spinal Cord Injury Rehab Center at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam College of Physiotherapy, Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences - Deemed to be University, as well as the colleges and health care institutions associated with the university has started cooperation in academic, scientific & health care activities.

The Spinalis Foundation was founded in 1989 with the mission to initiate and support research and development within the field of spinal cord injury. The goal is to enable people with spinal cord injury (SCI) to live a fulfilling everyday life. The Spinalis Foundation is a charitable foundation with the mission to promote research and develop treatments for people with SCl. In Sweden they are a proactive force within SCI rehabilitation. Our medical research projects are closely linked to the Karolinska Instirute in Stockholm.
