Congratulations Dr. Vaibhav Kapoor, Surgery Resident won the 1st prize in BEST PAPER SESSION at National Conference ASICON 2012 held at Kolkata, titled "Analysis of application and diagnostic importance of the Alvarado Scoring in patients with right iliac fossa pain"

This paper was selected for National competition presentation on the basis of winning the first prize at State Conference MASICON 2012 . Congratulations to RMC and Dept. of Radio-diagnosis. Dr Sushil Kachewar, MD, DNB, PhD Fellow and Associate Prof. has been awarded with the “PIMS Chancellor’s Rolling Trophy for Best Research Paper - 2011-2012”.

His paper entitled “A Classification of patterns of fetal middle cerebral artery velocity waveforms as seen on Doppler Ultrasound” has been published in the Japanese Journal of Radiology in July-August 2012 issue , which is a PubMed Indexed, reputed International Journal. Dr S.G.Gandage, Prof. & Head, is the co-author and PhD Guide.

Dr Sushil Kachewar is one of the few recipients of the newly implemented Research Incentive Scheme [RIS] of this university and was also felicitated additionally, for the same in this function.
